My name is Jon Biggs. I have been the Pastor of Student Ministries at Centerville Community Church since January 2008. I have the best job in the world! I get to work with an amazing group of students and adult leaders every week. I work with students in grades 7-12.
I will give you a little background on myself. I moved to Canada from Wisconsin when I was 12 years old and lived there until I was 21. At this point, I decided to move back to the United States to pursue a degree in Business Administration from Nyack College in New York. That move paid off in a large way for me, because that is where I met my wife, Rebekah. Somehow I was able to convince her that she should date me and the rest is history. We got married in July 2003 in Pascack, New Jersey. In March of 2004, we packed up our life and our 6 week old Golden Retriever and moved to Ohio so that I could pursue my career in Business. After three and a half years, Rebekah and I both felt God was calling us to be in full-time ministry. And long story-short, that is how we ended up at Centerville Community Church. We have not looked back and have loved every minute!
I love to fish, read, watch sports, hang out with friends and have recently taken up swimming. I did not know how to swim until I was 28 years old! But most of all, I love helping students discover the plan that God has for their lives. There is nothing more rewarding for me than to see youth find God and to watch them grow in their walk with Him.
